A more recent addition to the account as a whole, this is for native species with very little to no active captive breeding in the wider hobby as well as native species with reduced recorded range/sightings in Canada. Species here may also have a different degree of required care compared to other native species I actively work with. The attached form in the below link is required to be filled out before purchase of these individual species, requiring relative experience and/or otherwise justification as to why you can care for these species. I know this is not something you would see for nearly any other invertebrates for sale, let alone most exotic animals but due to the aforementioned general sensitivity regarding species labeled under here I would prefer them to go to those with active experience rather than those newer to the hobby, not to gatekeep but to ensure the species' long term success in captivity. Eventually species may fall off this list and move to normal sale but it's all dependent on their long term success. Forms may be updated and/or added if species from other classifications I figure may require paperwork, for example if a native Beetle or Millipede species requires it I will make an order form specifically for those classifications in the future.

Please read everything on the form, and you can attach any other information you would like to form as well such as any further in depth experience or reasoning outside of the paperwork requirements.
